CR INSIDE

MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE

The Hope for Mental Health Ministry extends the radical friendship of Jesus by providing transforming love, support, and hope through the local church. The heart of this ministry comes from three passages of Scripture: “I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you” (John 15:15), “Serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13b), and “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).

Five life-transforming Scriptural truths that shape our approach to the Mental Health Ministry are illustrated in The Hope Circle: you are loved, you have a purpose, you belong, you have a choice, and you are needed.

WELCOME HOME GROUPS for our Veterans

Welcome Home is Celebrate Recovery’s tool to help veterans stuck in hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Welcome Home is an Open Share Group for veterans led by veterans. We are prayerful that we will be able to have Mens and Womens Veterans groups as the needs arise, as well as groups for immediate families of veterans.

CR FOR THE NATIVE NATIONS

The mission of CR Native Nations is to bring the gospel to the over 500 sovereign peoples within the borders of the United States, who are faced with staggering rates of alcoholism, abuse, poverty, and suicide. In that darkness we see a profound opportunity to walk as the light of the world and share the gospel of Jesus through the gift of recovery and see a generation transformed.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY FOR THE SEX EXPLOITATION INDUSTRY

Another new initiative for CR has them partnered with Treasures, a California-based ministry actively involved locally, nationally, and globally to end sex trafficking.  Their mission? To reach, restore, and equip women in the sex industry and victims of sex trafficking to live healthy, flourishing lives, and train others to do the same across the globe.

We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. James 5:16a NIV

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40 NIV

We have to acknowledge our baggage in order to let it go. Otherwise, we'll keep lugging around burdens God never intended us to carry.

The Lord...visits the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation. Exodus 34:7

But Jesus Christ has the power to break EVERY chain, including the cycle of generational sin!!

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1 NIV

For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:13 NIV

When we believe God can fix what we have been unable to, we find hope like never before.
